On location at...Fischersund
In downtown Reykjavík, nestled in a quiet little cobblestone alley, is a small black house. Inside, the room is dark, the floorboards creak, and a sense of intrigue fills the air. When I heard that Sigur Rós were bringing their orchestral tour back to Europe, I knew immediately that I had to see it. With no Scottish dates announced, travelling was the only option — the only real question was where. An evening with…Imelda May
Actually I was lucky enough to be invited to two nights of Imelda’s ‘Raised on Songs and Stories’ Tour in both Glasgow and Edinburgh. When the tour was first announced, I knew I had to go. Imelda, apart from being an incredible singer, is a great storyteller and fantastic poet in her own right.
